The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to another stylish 10 race program this Saturday night.
Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 First 4 pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.
The opening race has attracted an even field of 10 pacers with several in-form runners set to contest the UBET Pace over the sprint distance of 1660m.
A number of speedy performers have drawn ideally including Remember Them, Munroe, Feel The Courage and Polished Rocks.
Others to be considered include War Dan Apollo, Clarkey, Written In Red, Max Richter and Stormfortheboys.
Another highlight is race 9 on the program, the ‘Remembering Speed King’ Open Pace over the distance of 1660m.
Giant pacer Ultimate Art resumes following a freshen-up for co-trainers Shannon Price and Scott Miller and will start from the outside draw, gate seven.
A recent public trial at the track indicates he’s near peak fitness and a forward showing can be expected as he builds toward the summer carnival next month.
Speed King, trained and driven by Peter Johnson, was sublime performer at Albion Park during the late 1980’s winning many races.
A winner of 20 races from 39 starts, his biggest triumphs included the Queensland sires Stakes Finals as a two-year-old and a three-year-old.
He also proved to be a successful sire with a number of quality performers.
